DIRTY DOLLY PHOTOGRAPHY is a powerful combination of raw artistic talent and technical know-how, transforming everyday women into the rock stars and super models they feel inside. With over 33 years of combined experience, photographer Richard G. Martinez and makeup artist Denise Hart Larsen mix high-fashion glamour with classy, sensual erotica, to create not only beautiful images, but also works of fine art.

The Visionary: With 18 years as a creative director in the arts and entertainment industries, Richard has art directed photo shoots for many of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Gwen Stefani, Carmen Electra and Salma Hayek. As a computer artist his Photoshop skills are unmatched, being able to take any raw image and make it look absolutely perfect. Richard states, "I prefer to photograph the natural beauty of everyday women, and use my computer photo editing skills to bring out their very best. I can easily make all my clients look as good as any fashion model, but it’s really about capturing the spirit of their inner self that’s far more rewarding as an artist."

The Architect: A lifelong visual artist in her own right, Denise has been working in the cosmetics industry for over 15 years. She has had the privilege of painting (literally) thousands of faces, from prom queens to drag queens and from fashion models to model wives. Denise explains, "Whether I’m creating a radiant, natural look for a wedding or an edgy, colorful look for a photo shoot, I simply allow each woman’s features to speak to me, inspiring me to create a fresh look that’s unique ONLY to her."

The Power of Transformation: “It’s therapy in many way,” says Richard, “Most people don’t feel they have what it takes to be the subject of professional photos. But what they don’t understand is that even the most recognized faces on the planet have the same ‘flaws’ we all do. The only difference between these ‘celebrities’ and us is they have experts dressing them, doing their makeup and retouching their photos! These experts use their skills to make those actresses look like goddesses. Denise and I are those people!” says Richard with a smile. “But at the end of the day, when our clients see their images for the first time many times they’ll cry, truly feeling beautiful for the first time. It changes their perspective about themselves…” Richard pauses, “…and that is what it’s all about.”

PAYMENT ▪ CANCELLATIONS

• A deposit is due immediately upon booking your appointment and is non-refundable.
• The balance for your selected package is due (in full) 10 business days before your scheduled appointment and is non-refundable.
• All payments are received through PayPal.
• There are no refunds for deposits or balances paid in full, however the client may reschedule at any time.
• Any travel costs incurred for a rescheduled shoot will be the responsibility of the client.
• Tips for excellent service are appreciated, but not expected.

IMAGE RIGHTS AND USAGE

• DIRTY DOLLY will provide all of the raw, untouched images from your shoot through a secure file server and DVD. However, these untouched images should not to be published without consulting DIRTY DOLLY PHOTOGRAPHY first. Quality control over our brand is paramount, therefore how the public views our work is very important to us, so compliance to this request is appreciated.
• Clients do not sign model releases, therefore DIRTY DOLLY will NOT own the legal rights to showcase your images. So rest assured, they cannot be used (without your permission) for any reason.

IMAGE TECH SPECS

• Raw files are roughly 55+ MB and can be converted to a high-resolution (magazine quality) 12 x 18 inch (300 dpi) image, suitable for printing from any home printer, digital film lab or online photo service.
• Web files will be converted to a 600x900 pixel image, ready to upload to any website.

WHAT CLOTHING SHOULD I BRING TO MY SHOOT?

Please bring clothing and accessories you feel really sexy in, the more possibilities the better! Don't be afraid to push your limits, as this is all about fantasy. Your clothing can range from romantic, sexy casual to glamorous. Fetish wear, leather and latex are greatly encouraged. Don't forget about jewelry, hosiery, shoes and various accessories that will enhance your overall look.

WHAT CLOTHING SHOULD I AVOID?

No costumes or cheap club wear please. Avoid flat black or white clothing unless they have texture and/or shine. Flat black and white do not photograph well.

ARRIVE READY TO BE GLAMOURIZED!

Please arrive for your shoot with a clean face and clean dry hair. Having your hair blown-dry straight is preferred, but not required.

SHOULD I DO ANY WAXING BEFORE MY SHOOT?

Make sure that any facial waxing is done at least two days prior to the shoot, as makeup won't stick to freshly waxed skin.

TREAT YOURSELF TO A MANICURE AND PEDICURE!

Don't forget that your fingers and toes will be in the pictures, so make sure they're pretty too!

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BRING?

Please arrange for food and beverage during the shoot to keep your energy up. You'll need it!

WHERE DO WE SHOOT?

For style reasons, DIRTY DOLLY PHOTOGRAPHY does not use a studio for shooting. Clients are responsible for securing the shooting location. A home, apartment or hotel room is great for doing hair and makeup as well as indoor shots. From this location we can venture off to outdoor locations nearby. If you choose remote locations, such as deserts, mountains, lakes, etc., additional fees may apply.
